Emma Ronkainen e Silva, Valokuvaaja Helsinki 

I am a 36-year-old media professional from Helsinki Finland. ​I have always been very visual by nature but I found my passion for photography in 2015 when I was traveling to Africa, in Tanzania and Uganda. I became interested in wildlife and capturing those magical moments with a camera. Right away when I got back from Africa, I signed up for 6 months photography course in Helsinki and after the course I knew that I have found my true passion.

I was surprised to realize that I enjoyed photography so much despite the fact what I was shooting, whether it was a studio portrait or nature. In photography, I like that it is very creative but also technical work.

​I graduated as a photographer in 2019 from Helsinki Vocational Adult Institute and also department of Audiovisual Communication in the spring 2017. ​
